SCOUTING
AT ST. JOHN’S
St.
John’s Church has been the charter organization for Troop 307 and Pack
307 for over 50 years. The
program is open to all male youth ages 7 to 17 that live in the
Vandalia-Butler area or are members or friends of St. John’s.
The
Boy Scout program provides fun, fellowship, and training to our youth as
well as youth in our community. The
purpose is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults
to build character, train in the responsibilities of participatory
citizenship, and develop personal fitness.
These values are based upon those found in the Scout Oath and
Law.
