January 11, 2021 Lamentations 3:24 ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’ (Help me Jesus to remember that my salvation is a promised gift for me in your life, death and resurrection. Let my hope be in your promise, and not my own works. AMEN)

March 15, 2021 Isaiah 40:3 A voice cries out: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. (Holy Spirit, give me the courage and strength to ‘lift up my voice” to help others know of your saving love and grace. AMEN).
March 22, 2021 Mark 6:31 31He said to them, Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’ (Lord, lead me to the quiet and deserted places in my spiritual life, for I know it is there that I shall find you. AMEN).
March 29, 2021 Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return.* Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. (Lord, at times your ways are beyond my understanding; please help me to love the difficult people in my life as you have loved me. AMEN).
April 5, 2021 2 Peter 3:8-9 But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you,* not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. (Give me patience to seek your presence in all times of my life; and give me wisdom to see you in everyone I encounter. AMEN).
April 12, 2021 Romans 5:17 If, because of the one man’s trespass, death exercised dominion through that one, much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness exercise dominion in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. (It is the human condition that all people fall short of perfection; but in Jesus Christ all people Have access to God’s grace, mercy, and forgiveness. For this we give thanks. AMEN).
April 19, 2021 Luke 23:42-43 Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into* your kingdom.’ 43He replied, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.’ (Thank you Jesus for bringing the thief on the cross into Paradise with you giving me hope that my sins cannot separate me from your love. April 26, 2021 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God, everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (Good, and Gracious God, thank you for the love you pour into my life. Help me always to share your love with others. AMEN).
May 3, 2021 Luke 14:27 Whoever does not carry the cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. (I know Father that no human life is without sin and struggle; please help me to remember that no matter what challenge I may face, you never leave me alone. AMEN).

October 4, 2021 Acts 20:24 But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace. (Heavenly Father, my life is meaningless separated from you. Help me to finish the journey of my life sharing your gospel story and love. AMEN).
October 11, 2021 Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us* and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Thank your heavenly Father for sending Jesus to be the example of living your love here on earth. Help me to live my life in service to you and others as I strive to imitate your love in all I say and do. AMEN).
October 18 2021 Matthew 6:19-21 ‘Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust* consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust* consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Give me the wisdom Lord to recognize the things in life that are of true worth and value, and give me the courage and strength to seek them out always. AMEN).
